Family with children nice stay
The welcome we received from staff was genuine, like they actually cared. There was this moment in the bar when they went out of their way to, offering us extra butter for our sandwiches and being super friendly.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but you get what you pay for, so it felt acceptable at the end.

The room was well-equipped, also it had safe. The pool was very clean and I had carbonated drinks in the poolside bar.

Nice room if a bit dated. Good food at the bar . Good parking. pool and health suite clean and warm.
Bit dated overall. tv channels basic and messed up. My wife got a dirty spoon in her coffee in room and i got a dirty fork at breakfast, but staff very quick to sort out.

I've stayed at this hotel before, but this time they exceeded my expectations during our couple of nights. The room was quiet, looking out on the lovely gardens, and the leisure center was really excellent. Every meal we had in the hotel bar was good and added to our fantastic experience.
radiators in the room didn't work

Savoury and exceptional breakfast selection with chocolate and toast. Comfortable bed in twin/double room with a seating area, an ironing set, and a work desk. Ideal convenient location, in the bar food area.

It was clean and the room was spacious and very comfortable. It was also excellent value for money.
Breakfast was buffet and some of the food, especially the bacon, had dried up. It was also served on cold plates. We were there for a music festival and its position was not ideal as there was no transport to the town centre and it was a 25min walk to the town centre. However all this has to be measured against the price which was excellent. We would certainly consider staying there again.

Leisure center quality, multiple room choices for families, quality room amenities
Outdated decor throughout the premises!!! Relax, but those long corridors make it frustrating to find rooms!!! Consider sorting out issues with available hot water and noise from fitness classes!!!

The Staff, the Staff, the Staff - This hotel was lovely but was turned into a 5 star weekend by the staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to do everything and anything to make our stay enjoyable!. Every detail was taken care of and it seemed to run right across the hotel from the front door to the bedrooms, Well done
Seriously! When the room the staff and the food are so lovely- why would you put the menu on sheets of paper??? Please purchase a few nice folders : )

The family room was amazing value, the breakfast was very satisfactory. As we arrived on a cold wet Fridat,it was wonderful to see a roaring fire on,and in general the whole plave was warm and cosy
Unfortunately whilst we received a great deal on a family room, two of the bedroom walls were very stained, also the mattress protectors came off all the time making it very insecure when trying to get to sleep. Also there was a half net curtain on the window that served no purpose, only making the window look tatty. The receptionist on duty when we were departing we found very caustic and unfriendly with no real care to the customer, just wanting to get us seen to as though we were an inconvenience.
